Bleed required 3mm.
The measurements given are exact and with 3 mm bleed which should be added to each edge to allow for trim.
When the artwork is trimmed, slight variations can occur so the 3 mm is there to to avoid a white line being shown on trimmed edges.
The finished trimmed size is 151mm by 117.8mm.
151mm is made up of 6.5 left spline + 138 centre panel + 6.5 right spline
Finished Artwork Size Including Bleed.
The total dimensions including bleed for the inlay would therefore be:
Width: 157mm (Width 151mm + 3mm bleed left + 3mm bleed Right)
Hight: 123.8mm (Hight 117.8mm + 3mm bleed top + 3mm bleed bottom)
3mm Safe Rule.
No text or detail should be placed closer than 3 mm to trimmed edges or folds,
this ensures no loss of detail etc in the folding, trimming process.
6.5 mm Spline.
This area would used to show your album title, band name and your catalogue number. Simple centre your text within this 6.5 mm margin.
